San Diego Computer Consulting is a co-sponsor for the 56 annual Southwestern Yacht Club’s, Bottom Fishing Tournament.  This is a fundraising tournament that raises money for Captain Rollo’s Kids at Sea program.   This charitable program has been around since 1999.   It is a program that helps kids get on charter boats and do a full day of fishing in San Diego.

Captain Rollo’s Kids at Sea has taken out more than 150,000 children on fishing trips.   This is all paid for by donations collected by the organization.

Sign Up!  All are invited.  You can fish the tournament, or just come to the Famous Fish Taco Dinner.

(Yes, we use the fish that was caught from the tournament!)

I, Glen Jaffe, one of the owners of San Diego Computer Consulting was the Anglers president at Southwestern Yacht Club for two years.   During my tenure there we spearheaded several philanthropic events.   San Diego Computer Consulting was a part of the success as we provided IT services to the club.

The Southwestern Anglers are a very special group.   With a membership of over 300, they are considered one of the strongest and best fishing clubs in all of Southern California.   Fishing is our sport, but philanthropy is our passion.

 

The Southwestern Anglers raisde more than $25,000.00 for Captain Rollo’s Kids in 2025
